| Biography:
Erik Johnson
has been in the Victorian Society of Colorado Springs since
Spring 2009, but has been involved in Living History and
Victorian social activities since the late 1960s. Earliest fun
was in the 5th US Cavalry in Tucson, AZ recreating the life of
the frontier army. The 1970s and 1980s saw the founding of the
Wyoming Frontier Army for Victorian history fans across Wyoming.
Erik was involved in elegant balls at numerous historical sites,
supported the Wyoming State Museum as a volunteer, and performed
demonstrations at grade schools in the Cheyenne area. After
being laid off and moving to Colorado Springs to begin a new
career, Erik joined the Victorian Society of Colorado Springs.
The purpose of it all is to have fun, share the rich heritage of
our American history, and introduce people (especially children)
to the joys of history. |
